The County of Clay is seeking bids to repair, remodel and add-on to the Dog Kennel portion of the Animal Shelter building. The rear portion of the building would need to be repaired and added onto. Additional repairs will also need to be made to some of the existing structure.
The work will be done in strict accordance with applicable codes and ordinances and to the full satisfaction and acceptance of the County. The contractor with the awarded bid will be responsible for establishing, supervising, and maintaining all safety precautions and programs in connection with the work performed on the project. The contractor will comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the project.
The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to select and award to the bidder whose bid is felt is in the best interest of the County. Bids must be submitted to the Clay County Animal Control building’s office by 12:00 p.m. on August 4th, 2026.
